Oman's Energy Minister, Salim Al Aufi, announced on Monday that the Strait of Hormuz will reopen. He indicated that the current situation is likely short-term, and that stability is expected to return in the medium term.
The minister stated, "I am pleased that the Sultanate of Oman continues its oil and gas production and that the current spike in oil and LNG prices is unsustainable for everyone."
He emphasized the urgent need to diversify exit points and explore alternative export options, according to "Reuters".
