In a statement on the platform "X," Israeli army spokesperson Ella Wauia announced: "The Combat Team Unit 55, under the guidance of Division 91, is operating in the security zone of southern Lebanon to neutralize threats against the State of Israel. During operations in the area, the unit uncovered a site with an entrance to a tunnel belonging to the Hezbollah terrorist organization, alongside ready-to-use launch platforms. These platforms contained 32 rocket shells aimed at Israeli territory, left behind before the ceasefire agreement took effect. The forces have destroyed the site and the platforms."
Wauia reiterated that "the Israel Defense Forces will not allow the Hezbollah terrorist organization to endanger Israeli citizens and its forces. The IDF will continue to dismantle threats while adhering to the ceasefire agreement."
