MP Bilal Abdullah tweeted: "The mask has completely fallen. Michel Aoun does not want Saad Hariri as Prime Minister. No constitution, no national interest, and no people's moans can change the opinion of the strong president, even if the people starve... Our hands are tied by the belts of America and Iran, to solve the dilemma and alleviate this country a little."
President Michel Aoun received appointed Prime Minister Saad Hariri at 11:30 a.m. at the Baabda Palace, focusing on the issue of forming the government. After meeting Aoun, Hariri warned that every team must bear the responsibility for its positions from now on, reiterating his stance on forming a government with 18 ministers without a blocking third.
It is worth noting that after nearly four months, the consultations for forming the Lebanese government remain stalled, with no signs of optimism, despite the ongoing diplomatic efforts by appointed Prime Minister Saad Hariri, which he began in Egypt.
