Investors in Aramco's Pipeline Will Refinance Loans through Bonds Next Year

Reuters reported, citing two sources, that EIG Global Energy Partners will lead a yet-to-be-announced consortium to issue billions of dollars in bonds through two or three transactions to replace bank debt supporting an investment in Saudi Aramco's oil pipeline assets. The sources stated that the Washington, D.C.-based consortium will issue bonds to replace a core financing package worth $10.5 billion arranged by Aramco for potential bidders seeking a 49% stake.
