The First Hotel in Outer Space to Be Built This Century

For the first time in history, the world will witness the construction of the very first hotel in outer space, according to Orbital Assembly, the construction company behind the project.

The three-year-old company will begin building the Voyager Station in low Earth orbit in 2025, and it believes its interstellar resort could be ready for operation as early as 2027, as reported by the British newspaper "Daily Mail."

The construction team indicated that the hotel will orbit the Earth every 90 minutes, and this circular motion will generate artificial gravity similar to that found on the surface of the Moon.

The hotel will include a variety of amenities, such as themed restaurants, a spa, a cinema, gyms, libraries, concert venues, lounges, and bars to view the Earth, as well as rooms capable of accommodating 400 people. The design of the space hotel features a cosmic elegance: individual living units will be connected by a rotating wheel, anchored by tubes linking different areas to form an "X" shape akin to the wheel's hub. It will also include all necessities, such as crew quarters, air, water, and power, which will occupy part of the spacecraft as well.
