The White House stated that U.S. National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan expressed "deep concern" in a phone call with his Israeli counterpart on Sunday regarding the clashes that occurred in Jerusalem. The White House clarified that Sullivan reiterated America's serious concern about the potential eviction of Palestinian families from their homes in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood to Israeli National Security Advisor Meir Ben Shabbat. They both agreed that rocket attacks and incendiary balloons launched from Gaza towards Israel are unacceptable and should be condemned.
