His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, welcomed Brazil's joining of the Dubai-led Logistics Passport Initiative, aimed at building a logistics network for transporting goods and products worldwide. He stated, "We seek to connect the East of the world with its West and the North with its South, and today we have partners from Indonesia and India in the East to Brazil and Colombia in the West." His Highness expressed this on his Twitter account, saying: "We welcome Brazil - one of the world's most important economies - to the Dubai-led Logistics Passport Initiative to build a logistics network for transporting goods and products around the world.
