UAE Condemns Statements by Lebanese Foreign Minister Against Saudi Arabia and GCC Countries

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation expressed its strong condemnation and disapproval of the shameful and racist statements made by His Excellency Charbel Wehbe, the Foreign Minister of Lebanon in the caretaker government, which insulted the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. The Ministry summoned the Ambassador of the Republic of Lebanon to the UAE and handed him an official protest note condemning these statements, reaffirming that they contradict diplomatic norms and are inconsistent with the historical relations that connect Lebanon and the GCC countries.
