The channel and radio shared a video circulating on Twitter showing a man wearing a green shirt, glasses, and a mask shouting "Down with Macron" before striking Macron on the face. The clip also shows Macron's security detail quickly intervening to pull the man to the ground and remove Macron from harm's way. Macron's team confirmed that a man attempted to slap the president.
