German businessman Ralph Wenzel (41) has decided to launch a global platform for ultra-fast retail deliveries, entering a field that attracts huge investments and is experiencing tremendous growth, according to reports from "Reuters" and the website "Al Aan." His startup, named Joker, is backed by investment companies HV Capital, Tiger Global, and SoftBank, and aims to deliver a wide range of products from extensively distributed warehouses within 15 minutes of placing an order via a smartphone application. Joker operates in Mexico City, Lima, and São Paulo, with plans to expand to New York and Bogotá before spreading throughout Europe and Latin America. Wenzel stated, "We are establishing a faster version of Amazon."
