Iranian Oil Tankers Arriving in Syria on Friday

Three Iranian oil tankers are scheduled to arrive at the Syrian port of Baniyas, carrying approximately 1.7 million barrels of crude oil. The website "Tanker Trackers," which specializes in tracking tankers, reported that the first two tankers will arrive at the coastal city in the Tartus governorate tomorrow, carrying 1.4 million barrels. The website added that the third tanker will later pass through the Suez Canal in Egypt. It is noteworthy that three tankers arrived in the country last April, which is facing a severe crisis in the availability of oil derivatives, and the Syrian government had previously promised a "significant alleviation" of the crisis.
