The Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of Switzerland reported today, Thursday, that the summit between Russian President Vladimir Putin and American President Joe Biden will be held at "Villa La Grange." In a statement released by the department and published on its Twitter page, it thanked both countries (Russia and the USA) for their trust in choosing Geneva as the location for the summit. The Biden-Putin summit is expected to take place on June 16 in Geneva and will address issues of strategic stability, combating the COVID-19 pandemic, key international topics, and regional conflicts. Washington regularly increases its sanctions on Moscow, using the "situation in the field of human rights" as a pretext for imposing new restrictions. For its part, Russia has listed the United States as an unfriendly country. The Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs noted that relations between the two countries are currently at an impasse, adding that the most important thing today is to find a way out of it.
