Smart Robot Roaming the Grand Mosque: The Aim is Zamzam Water

In a new step within the precautionary measures to limit the spread of the COVID-19 virus in Saudi Arabia, the General President for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque, Sheikh Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais, launched on Saturday a smart robot to distribute Zamzam water bottles without contact. Al-Sudais explained that modern technology has been harnessed to serve humanity, especially in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, which will ensure the safety of those visiting the two holy mosques. The General President commended the advancements in modern science and digital development in serving all of humanity, noting that the robot distributes Zamzam water bottles without contact and does not hinder the movement of pilgrims, according to the Saudi Press Agency "SPA."
