In an unusual moment, French coach Zinedine Zidane lost his temper and got into a heated exchange with a Spanish journalist he encountered on the street. In a video published by the Spanish channel "Directo Gol," Spanish journalist Sergio Quirante confronted Zidane and his family with a question that angered the French coach significantly. Quirante asked Zidane, "Did you leave Real Madrid badly?", referring to whether he left the team amidst major conflicts with the management or players. Zidane had announced his departure from Real Madrid months ago, amid significant disputes with club president Florentino Pérez, the reasons for which remain unclear.
It seems that this was not the first time Quirante had posed this question to Zidane, which further aggravated him in a manner we have never seen during his time coaching "Los Blancos." Zidane stopped walking, approached the journalist, and said in an angry tone: "Are you still asking the same stupid question?" He continued, "Your work is embarrassing. Nothing changes with you. You know me and I know you. Come here and talk to me without the camera." After that, Zidane continued walking with his children and wife, while wearing a hat and face mask, an outfit that did not prevent the press from recognizing him.
