Title: New Hotel Pricing Policy for Tourists in Lebanon

The Ministry of Tourism has approved hotel pricing in foreign currency for foreign tourists visiting Lebanon, while prices will remain in Lebanese pounds for Lebanese citizens and foreign residents in Lebanon. This initiative aims to boost inbound tourism and local tourism, enhancing the national economy by bringing in foreign currencies, while also safeguarding local tourism assets for citizens through hotel payments in Lebanese pounds. This circular is effective immediately, and the tourism control department - complaint office and tourist police will oversee its implementation.
