Former U.S. President Donald Trump expressed his wishes for his successor Joe Biden's success in the upcoming meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, advising him not to fall asleep during the meeting. Trump stated, "Good luck to Biden in his talks with President Putin. Don't fall asleep in the meeting, and please convey my best wishes to him (Putin)." Trump had referred to his opponent Biden as "Sleepy Joe" during the last presidential campaign. The Russian and U.S. presidents are set to hold their first summit on June 16 in Geneva since Biden took office. The Kremlin stated that the two leaders plan to discuss U.S.-Russia relations, strategic stability, the fight against the coronavirus pandemic, and regional conflict resolution.
