Egyptian security forces arrested Hanin Hossam, the "TikTok girl," just hours after she appeared in a new video on TikTok early Tuesday morning in the Shubra area of Qalyubia Governorate. Hanin Hossam appeared in the early hours of Tuesday morning after receiving a 10-year prison sentence, stating, "I have never harmed anyone; who have I trafficked? A 19-year-old wouldn’t know anything about human trafficking. I have never harmed anyone, and I haven't done anything wrong, I swear I haven't; I created a Likee app, and it's not something forbidden, everyone is doing it." The Cairo Criminal Court in the New Cairo area sentenced Hanin Hossam to 10 years in prison and a fine of 200,000 pounds on Sunday. Additionally, the court sentenced another TikTok girl, Mawda Al-Adham, to 6 years in prison and a 200,000-pound fine, and the ruling also included the confiscation of all equipment used in filming, obligating them to pay court fees.
