The ISIS-affiliated Nashir News website on Telegram stated that the organization claimed responsibility for a rocket attack on a power station in Iraq. The Iraqi Ministry of Electricity stated on its Facebook page that "the Salah ad-Din thermal power station in Samarra was hit by Katyusha rockets, causing significant damage to parts of the generating unit (the boiler)."
