Warning about the Impact of "iPhone 12" on Pacemakers

Abu Dhabi's Department of Health has informed cardiologists about the potential risks associated with the magnetic field of the iPhone 12 on pacemakers and implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs). This alert was prompted by research and investigations conducted regarding the reported issues, which indicate some potential problems related to users of pacemakers and ICDs in connection with the magnetic field of Apple’s iPhone 12. The department urged cardiologists to raise awareness among patients and to ensure that iPhone 12 and other electronic devices are kept at least 15 centimeters away from the chest area.
