The Tunisian Ministry of Health announced on Wednesday 134 new deaths due to the coronavirus and 9,823 infections in a record tally. This is the highest number of deaths recorded to date, bringing the total to 15,735, while the number of infected individuals has reached approximately 465,000 since the outbreak began in Tunisia in March 2020.
