The Jordanian Royal Court announced on Wednesday that Jordan's monarch, King Abdullah, is set to meet with U.S. President Joe Biden on July 19 during an official visit to Washington. This will be the first meeting between Biden and an Arab leader since Biden's election. The Royal Court stated that the meeting will address "the strategic relations between Jordan and the United States, ways to enhance them in various fields, in addition to the latest developments in the region."
