The summit's outcome documents proposed mechanisms to build capacity in water, food, agriculture, energy, and both basic and applied sciences, as well as multinational large-scale projects.
The objective of the second summit is to review the implementation of the OIC's Science, Technology, and Innovation Program for 2026 and to reaffirm the organization's commitment to taking all necessary measures to create and activate an environment conducive to progress in science, technology, and innovation among member states. The current summit will feature a busy agenda, with member countries relying on participation to generate the best ideas, solutions, plans, policies, and innovations that will help the organization’s countries overcome challenges and pursue a development path that benefits all.
