A horrific car accident today, Thursday, claimed the lives of 7 people in southern Dhi Qar province. Al-Sumaria News reported that "the accident occurred between a Starex vehicle and a tanker in southern Dhi Qar, resulting in 7 fatalities and 3 others injured." It noted that security forces cordoned off the accident site and transported the bodies to the forensic department, while the injured were taken to the nearest hospital for treatment.
