Swedish police announced on Thursday that 9 people were killed in the crash of a small plane used for skydiving shortly after taking off near the city of Örebro in southern Sweden. The British newspaper "The Sun" quoted the police saying, "Everyone on board the crashed plane has died." It is noted that the plane was carrying eight skydivers in addition to its pilot and crashed shortly after taking off from Örebro Airport.
