Patent for a Super Phone with a Drone-like Camera by a Chinese Company

Recent tech reports have indicated that BKK, a subsidiary of the Chinese Vivo Group, has filed a patent for a smartphone equipped with a drone-like flying camera. This innovative feature will allow users to capture images from unprecedented angles. According to Deccan Herald, the flying camera can detach from the smartphone and fly freely for photography. While the camera is airborne, the user will be able to view the screen and take the desired pictures.

The source noted that this innovation will provide smartphone users with a more creative photography experience. The company submitted the patent to the International Intellectual Property Office in December of last year. The patent explains how the company can equip the phone with a flying camera, making it operate like a drone. This camera will be equipped with batteries, image sensors, three infrared sensors, and four propellers.

Additionally, a small case will be designed to store the attached flying camera. This smartphone will also have front and rear camera lenses, similar to other devices, but its standout feature is the hovering lens akin to a drone.
