She stated that he will undergo a COVID-19 test in the coming hours to confirm his recovery before returning to shoot the series "Al Ikhtiyar 2." Last week, his COVID-19 test indicated that he was infected with the virus, leading to his home quarantine, and he is following the treatment protocol set by the Ministry of Health.
Inas expressed her astonishment in comments to the Egyptian website "Al-Watan" regarding the circulating news on online platforms about the source of her brother's infection with the virus. She emphasized that this information is incorrect and added, "Ahmed Mekky does not yet know the source of the infection." She also urged Ahmed Mekky's fans to "increase their prayers for his recovery and to overcome this health crisis safely."
