Mohamed El-Nadi, a member of the Scientific Committee for Combating Corona at the Egyptian Ministry of Health, revealed that artist Dalal Abdel Aziz has started to recover. He confirmed during a phone interview with Al-Hadath channel that the latest information indicates she is improving, but still requires oxygen through non-invasive means, without the use of a tracheal tube. He stated that her health condition is relatively stable. Dr. Mohamed El-Nadi noted that Egypt is free from the "Delta Plus" variant, citing that this is supported by actual numbers, mentioning that the country is currently recording less than 20% of the infections seen at the peak of the third wave. The Scientific Committee member added that we are currently at the end of the third wave and hope, with God's help and the citizens' commitment, to avoid a fourth wave. He also stated that it has not yet been proven that weather conditions have an impact on the coronavirus. In this context, he mentioned that the vaccines to be used for pregnant women are the same as those currently available, but will be administered after some studies, emphasizing that safety is as important as efficacy.
