10 Martyrs from One Palestinian Family in Israeli Airstrike on Gaza Strip

Ten members of a single Palestinian family were martyred due to an Israeli airstrike targeting western Gaza on Saturday morning, according to paramedics in the Palestinian territory. The martyrs include eight children and two women, all from the Abu Hatab family, as a result of the collapse of a three-story building in the Shati refugee camp following the Israeli strike, medical sources reported. For its part, the Israeli military announced late Friday into Saturday that it had conducted at least five strikes on the territory. The military statement clarified that the targets included the headquarters of Hamas security chief Tawfiq Abu Naim and “rocket launch sites” in the north and south of the territory, in addition to buildings belonging to Hamas's "military intelligence." Based on the latest toll published by Palestinian authorities on Friday evening, the Israeli bombardment of Gaza has resulted in the martyrdom of 126 individuals, including 31 children, and 950 injuries since Monday.
