Emirates Airlines continues to intensify its operations and expand its services across its network to meet the strong demand for travel during the summer season, following the easing of restrictions on travelers. The airline is gradually and safely rebuilding its route network and enhancing its strategy to strengthen its presence in key markets to serve tourism and the growing demand for business travel.
Currently, Emirates Airlines serves 115 global passenger destinations, and by the end of July, it will have restored approximately 90% of its pre-pandemic network, operating 880 weekly flights to 124 cities. The airline will resume services in July to seven cities: Venice on July 1, Phuket, Nice, Orlando, and Mexico City on July 2, Lyon on July 9, and Malta on July 14. Additionally, a new service to Miami, the second-largest city in Florida and one of the world's most popular holiday destinations, will commence on July 22.
His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group, stated, "We are committed to maintaining connectivity between Dubai and the business community and countries around the world, and we are working to rebuild our network and secure access to more destinations in collaboration with various authorities and relevant entities."
He added, "The recent developments where many countries are turning the page and reopening their doors to international visitors have encouraged us. We are currently seeing strong indicators of demand in any destination that announces easing restrictions. Emirates Airlines is coordinating with various airline services to seize opportunities to grow our presence, providing our customers with broader choices to safely reach the destinations they long to visit this summer, while ensuring the best comfort and services for them."
