Lebanese President Michel Aoun received Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants Charbel Wehbe this morning at the Baabda Palace, where Wehbe submitted a letter requesting to be relieved of his ministerial responsibilities. This step comes in light of an interview Wehbe conducted two days ago with Al-Hurra Channel, during which he made offensive remarks about Saudi Arabia and the Gulf states. Wehbe presented his resignation letter to Aoun.
