The Dubai government announced the launch of a diverse portfolio of public-private partnership projects worth 25 billion dirhams (1 dollar is equivalent to 3.67 dirhams). This announcement was made during the Dubai International Conference on Public-Private Partnerships, organized by the Dubai Government's Finance Department, under the umbrella of the "Expo 2020" exhibition. This is the first conference hosted by the government in the field of public-private partnerships. The investments announced during the conference include: 7 urban development projects worth 22.58 billion dirhams, 14 road and transport projects worth 2.39 billion dirhams, and 8 health and safety projects valued at 526 million dirhams.
