Mohamed Salah's Brace Leads Liverpool to Hard-Fought Victory Over Atletico Madrid in the Champions League

Egyptian superstar Mohamed Salah led his team Liverpool to a 3-2 victory against host Atletico Madrid during the match held on Tuesday in the third round of Group B matches in the UEFA Champions League. The match also saw Porto from Portugal defeat Italian side Milan 1-0.

Liverpool took the lead with a goal from Mohamed Salah in the eighth minute, followed by a second goal from Naby Keita in the 13th minute. Atletico Madrid reduced the deficit when Antoine Griezmann scored their first goal in the 20th minute, and he equalized with another goal in the 34th minute. However, Mohamed Salah struck again, scoring Liverpool’s third goal from a penalty in the 78th minute. The match also saw Antoine Griezmann sent off in the 52nd minute.

With this victory, Liverpool topped the standings with nine points, while Atletico Madrid remained in second place with four points. In the other match, Porto secured a victory over Milan with a lone goal scored by Luis Diaz in the 65th minute. Porto moved to four points in third place, behind Atletico Madrid on goal difference, while Milan remained at the bottom of the standings with no points.
