Syrian artist Taim Hassan faced a wave of sharp criticism following the conclusion of the series "Ana" on the Shahid digital platform, in which he played the lead role.
The work did not win the approval of critics and followers, who seized the opportunity to criticize both the series and Taim himself for agreeing to take on what they described as a "weak" project, despite his status as a star with a rich artistic history. Syrian writer Rami Kosa responded to a follower's question about his opinion on the series "Ana," stating, "In my opinion, an actor like Taim Hassan, I don't know why he's doing this."
Several followers urged Taim Hassan to reassess his choices and avoid taking on roles for mere visibility. Some considered it a black mark in Taim's career, while others advised him to step out of "Al-Sabah's" shadow and suggested he explore other production companies with diverse projects.
Notably, one Twitter user sent a message to Egyptian media personality Wafaa El Kilani, Taim Hassan's wife, stating: "We demand an episode with artist Taim Hassan, your husband, to explain to us why he accepted the role in 'Ana' that has angered his fans, including myself. Thank you."
It's worth mentioning that MBC Drama is re-airing the series "The Palestinian Nakba," in which Taim Hassan participated alongside a select group of stars, delivering a distinguished performance as the character Ali, which garnered acclaim from critics and audiences alike.
