University Professor Charged for Manipulating Student Grades After Marriage Rejection

The Kuwaiti Public Prosecution has referred a professor from a technical college to the Criminal Court on charges of forgery of official documents, after he manipulated a student's grades because she rejected his marriage proposal. According to the details of the case reported by Al-Jarida newspaper, the student filed a complaint against the academic, stating that after her family rejected his proposal, he altered her grades in all subjects and recorded a "zero" for her in classwork despite her regular attendance in his lectures. During the investigation, the professor denied the charges against him, and the prosecution decided to release him on bail while referring the case to trial for forgery of official documents.
