Egyptian national team star and Liverpool player Mohamed Salah is auctioning the jersey he wore during the Liverpool vs. Manchester United match, with the proceeds going to animal welfare charities in Egypt. The global star tweeted on Friday in Egyptian colloquial, saying: "Kindness to animals is a duty for every human. To help, I will donate my Liverpool jersey that I wore in the match against Manchester United on October 23, 2021, in an open auction, to send all proceeds to an animal welfare organization in Egypt. I will share all the details and the date of the auction soon." Salah also tweeted the same message in English and shared it on the story feature of his Instagram account. The Egyptian pharaoh scored a historic hat-trick, leading Liverpool to a significant 5-0 victory over their arch-rivals Manchester United at Old Trafford during the ninth round of the Premier League. Salah became the first player in Premier League history to score a hat-trick at Old Trafford and the first player in Liverpool's history to score in three consecutive away matches against United. It is worth noting that the Premier League recently announced that Mohamed Salah won the Player of the Month award for October 2021.
