Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo commented on the dismissal of Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjær by posting a picture on his official Facebook account. Ronaldo shared two photos with the sacked manager, accompanied by a message that read: "I wish you good luck, my friend, you deserve it."
Ronaldo added, "Ole is a great person, and I always wish him the best wherever he goes." The Portuguese star noted, "I played with Solskjær when I first came to Old Trafford, and he was our manager when I returned to United."
The "Red Devils" fired Solskjær due to poor results on Sunday, just one day after the team suffered a 4-1 defeat to newly-promoted Watford, causing them to drop to seventh place in the Premier League standings. Solskjær had extended his contract with United for three years until 2024 last July, but he was dismissed after United lost five of their last seven league matches.
