Saudi Arabia: 17 Countries Included in the Decision to Extend Residency, Exit, Return, and Visit Permits Without Fees

The General Directorate of Passports in Saudi Arabia has announced the countries included in the decision to extend the validity of residency permits and exit and return visas, as well as visit visas, without fees. The extension covers the countries from which entry has been suspended, which are: Brazil, Indonesia, Pakistan, Turkey, Lebanon, Egypt, India, Ethiopia, Vietnam, Afghanistan, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Mozambique, Botswana, Lesotho, and Eswatini, according to Okaz newspaper. Last Sunday, the Passports Administration announced the start of the extension of residency permits and exit and return visas without fees until 28/6/1443, equivalent to 31/1/2022, with the exception of those who have completed receiving two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine inside Saudi Arabia before leaving the country. It clarified that the extension will be processed automatically in cooperation with the National Information Center without the need to visit passport offices or Saudi missions abroad, as well as the extension of visit visas by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for visitors outside Saudi Arabia.
