Saudi Arabia States That Assistance to the Lebanese Government Depends on Serious Reforms

Saudi Arabia affirmed on Tuesday its solidarity with the Lebanese people but stated that any assistance to the current or future government depends on its implementation of serious and tangible reforms, according to the Saudi Press Agency citing a statement from the Saudi Cabinet. The Cabinet stated, "Any assistance provided to the current or future government depends on its implementation of serious and tangible reforms, ensuring aid reaches those in need while avoiding mechanisms that enable the corrupt to control Lebanon's fate."
