This mosquito repellent device uses natural air flow to keep mosquitoes away with an adhesive support that keeps the device out of sight while dining. Designed by Chinese industrial designer Wushua, the battery-operated device can stick to the underside of any table and is intended for homes and restaurants with outdoor seating, attaching to the underside of tables so that it emits a sound automatically once it adheres to the surface. The device features a low-power fan located in the center, which is used to accelerate the dispersal of the mosquito repellent, allowing it to operate on battery power.
The compact nature of the device's power processes within a battery-operated package enables portability and wireless operation, making it a suitable option for busy urban centers like restaurants and cafes. By maintaining a wireless and portable design, the mosquito repellent can remain hidden from view during use. A waiter can easily attach and detach the device from the underside of the table as needed by customers, and once the device is installed beneath the dining table, it will automatically begin to operate. The waiter can remove the device and place it on the table when no one is seated at it, according to Yanko Design.
