The Egyptian Ministry of Defense stated on its website that Egypt and France have signed a contract for the supply of 30 Rafale fighter jets. The ministry added, "Egypt and France have signed a contract for the supply of 30 Rafale aircraft through the Egyptian Armed Forces and the French company Dassault Aviation, with the contract funding to be financed through a loan with a minimum duration of 10 years."
