He expressed his deep affection for the United Arab Emirates and said that his happiness is indescribable when he "visits Dubai annually to enjoy the wonderful tourist facilities, hotels, shopping centers, enchanting beaches, and various sports activities."
This was mentioned during Ronaldinho's visit to the Dubai Sports Council headquarters, where he met with the Secretary-General of the Dubai Council, Saeed Hareb, in the presence of the Assistant Secretary-General of the council, Nasser Aman Al Rahma. In a press statement, Ronaldinho said that obtaining a "golden residency" in Dubai represents a significant boost for his future and plans to reside in Dubai, along with his strong desire to invest in football academies.
He remarked, "I am very happy that Dubai has granted me the golden residency; I love Dubai and consider myself a friend of this wonderful city, which I enjoy visiting annually. There is a strong and long-lasting relationship between Brazilians and the United Arab Emirates, and receiving the golden residency and the wonderful lifestyle here will help me plan for the future to reside in Dubai and invest in football academies, similar to other stars who have moved to live in Dubai."
