Two New Apps Surpass TikTok in Popularity

The apps "Robinhood" and "Coinbase" have surpassed "TikTok" in popularity after ranking high on the "Sensor Tower" classification. Coinbase is a cryptocurrency trading platform that aims to simplify the process of purchasing digital currencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum by hosting the user's wallet on the site. On the other hand, Robinhood, launched in March 2015, specializes in offering commission-free trading for currencies. The app reached 13 million users in 2020. While Coinbase secured the sixth position in the Sensor Tower ranking, Robinhood obtained the seventh position. Although the two apps are not directly related, their simultaneous surge in popularity is not a coincidence; both allow inexperienced investors to turn a small amount of money into something much larger in a very short period. Experts advise users of both apps, who lack extensive trading experience, to invest small amounts to avoid potential losses, according to the website "Tom's Guide."
