The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that Israeli airstrikes after midnight Wednesday-Thursday in Syria targeted military sites near the Golan, housing members of the Lebanese Hezbollah. The observatory quoted activists from the southern region of Syria as saying that an Israeli helicopter struck after midnight Wednesday-Thursday a military point that includes reconnaissance and monitoring units from Hezbollah, in the vicinity of the town of Jbata al-Khashab, north of Quneitra, near the occupied Golan.
According to the observatory, the point was struck by two missiles from an Israeli helicopter flying over the occupied Golan. The attack resulted in the injury of three members who were present at the military site.
