Oil Prices Approach $92 per Barrel

Oil prices declined during trading on Thursday, despite U.S. data showing an unexpected drop in crude inventories in the United States. By 09:59 Moscow time, U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) futures fell by 0.16% to $89.52 per barrel. Meanwhile, Brent crude futures decreased by 0.42% to $91.17 per barrel, according to Bloomberg data. The Energy Information Administration reported that U.S. crude inventories dropped by 4.8 million barrels in the week ending February 4, while analysts had forecasted an increase of 100,000 barrels.
