Prohibition on Employees Earning Less than 2.6 Million Pounds

The Minister of Labor in the caretaker government, Mustafa Bayram, pointed out that "the Index Committee is monitoring the situation, and its successive meetings conclude with results, and practically, it has become prohibited in the private sector for any employee to earn less than 2.6 million pounds." Bayram added in an interview with "Radio Al Nour" that "the Index Committee is the legal entry point for the proposal related to salary increases and transportation allowances, which will be submitted to the Prime Minister and will inform the President of the Republic, leading to the issuance of an exceptional decree to approve the increases."
