Eyewitnesses reported on Sunday evening that two explosions occurred in separate locations in the Karrada neighborhood of Baghdad. The witnesses stated that the first explosion took place near the Jihan Bank across from the National Theater in the Karrada area, while the second explosion occurred near a liquor store in the Al-Wathiq Square area, causing material damage to the facades of buildings without details on the extent of casualties. Ambulances and civil defense vehicles arrived at the sites of the explosions, and security forces were deployed on the roads leading to the explosion sites.
