Accountability Awaits for All

The Secretary of the Leadership Council in "Al-Murabitoon," retired Brigadier General Mustafa Hamdan, stated that silence and avoiding political maneuvering is the best support that can be provided to the impoverished and wronged individuals in the streets of Lebanese cities and villages, warning that accountability will come for all.

The National News Agency reported on what Brigadier General Hamdan shared on social media: "In respect for our beloved suffering people rising across the Lebanese homeland, especially our youth who express themselves with genuine sincerity... reflecting the souls wronged by the entire corrupt clique... silence and avoiding political maneuvering is the best we can offer to these poor victims on the streets of Lebanese cities and villages." He added, "Shut up and stop your empty chatter; the people on the ground are not free to listen to your ramblings... and accountability is coming for all of you."

Moreover, the National News Agency correspondent reported that young people closed Kfar Rumman square with iron barriers this evening, protesting the rise in dollar exchange rates, deteriorating living conditions, and the economic collapse. Protesters burned rubber tires in the middle of the road, leading to the closure of the Nabatiyeh-Zahrani-Merjeyoun highway in both directions. The protesters chanted slogans against the Governor of the Central Bank of Lebanon and the political leaders who have led the country to bankruptcy and hunger.
