Lightning Strikes the White House, Injuring 4 Individuals

The Washington Fire and Emergency Medical Service indicated that four people were injured and are in critical condition after being struck by lightning in the area of the White House in downtown Washington, D.C. The service stated via its Twitter page: "Lightning in Lafayette Park, northwest, struck the area of the White House resulting in four injuries, all of whom are in critical condition."
