Supermarkets categorically refuse bank cards!

Nabil Fahed, the head of the supermarket owners, explained that when supermarkets collect payments through bank cards, they cannot use the funds available in banks to pay suppliers, as these funds cannot be withdrawn. This has exacerbated the issue, leading to discrepancies in card payments, with some refusing them altogether. He emphasized in an interview with "Voice of Lebanon" that the main control over prices lies in competition, which determines the price levels. Fahed confirmed that the problem is the instability of the dollar exchange rate, which leads to some discrepancies in product prices.
