The media office of the presidency clarified that "to avoid any ambiguity, President Michel Aoun is committed to holding the parliamentary elections on the scheduled date of May 15." Regarding overcoming the financial difficulties in securing the necessary funds for conducting these elections, the Cabinet will discuss the request from the Ministry of Interior in this regard to take the required measures and allocations during its scheduled session next Tuesday at the Baabda Palace.
